The Consultancy
MWB Consulting Limited was incorporated in 2000 by its founder and Principal Consultant, Dr. Michael Bowden. He has over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with several large and medium size pharmaceutical companies. In 1996 he was one of the co-founders of an innovative virtual drug development company, and then set up the EU operations of an international CRO in 1999. He moved full-time into consulting in 2005 and since then has established a highly successful and growing consulting practice based on in-house expertise and a network of consulting experts in various pharmaceutical disciplines – the MWB Consulting Network™.

Following the success and growth of the business, MWB Consulting was expanded with the formation of MWB Consulting Partners LLP which brought together further expert individuals. This included our other principal, Mr. Bradley Norton, who has over 16 years experience, during which he has worked in a number of varied roles, in the pharmaceutical and the CRO industry, as well as working in both Clinical Operations and Project Management. He has been responsible for the management of pan-European development program teams, including outsourcing activities to external providers, and has developed a keen understanding of the working dynamics required to make a success of pharmaceutical development programs.

MWB Consulting offers industry-leading consulting services across the entire product development pathway including regulatory support and submissions and the essential post-marketing compliance activities of pharmacovigilance and medical information.

To further its aims to develop a range of high quality services, MWB Consulting co-founded a specialist pharmacovigilance company – Medanta Pharmacovigilance Services Limited – in 2007, which combines the pharmacovigilance operational experience of MWB Consulting with a state-of-the-art web-enabled global pharmacovigilance database (PV-Works™).

Our consultants possess a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in various roles and are often engaged in due diligence activities for product licensing and investment opportunities. Accordingly, MWB Consulting set up a branded service – Tandem Diligence™ - in 2007 with its life science valuation partner, Avance AG – to offer a one-stop shop for technical assessment and financial valuation to companies wishing to in- or out-license products and to investors.
